2 – 3 Year Old
Last weekend we were babysitting a two year old. I almost forgot what it was like to have a little person that age running around the house. Well, they are full of energy and are constantly up to something. They want to touch everything and get bored very easily. I found myself taking out one toy after another, one book after another and flipping through one channel after another. This child just didn’t know what she wanted. She just didn’t want to sit still.
A friend of mine also lamented about how she took her kids around the same age to a movie and had to leave halfway through because they were bored and had enough! Well, I guess it must be difficult for someone that age to sit quietly and pay attention for long periods of time.
I must admit, at some point during the day I also had enough and just wanted her to sit in front of the television. The only problem was, she couldn’t sit and watch the same thing for more and a couple of minutes. Sometimes you wish that there was something they could watch that just has a little bit of everything in it.
Everything Kids
Everything kids is exactly that. It is a mish-mash of variety of topics and segments. The is a little bit of everything in it so if you have many kids, they will all find something interesting in it, and if you have just one child you need to keep busy, there is definitely something in these videos for them.
I was quite surprised at the amount of things stuffed into one video. I actually thought that this would be great for kids who struggle to pay attention for more than four minutes. I wondered who that could be, and when I looked around, there she was sitting beside me.
